Snegurochka – Team Santa | Holy Night

Snegurochka, the legendary Snow Maiden of Russian and Slavic folklore, joins Team Santa in Holy Night: Jesus Christ vs Santa Claus, bringing the elegance and mysterious magic of winter to this extraordinary festive confrontation.

Known as the granddaughter and companion of Ded Moroz, the Russian Father Frost, Snegurochka is a familiar figure in Russian New Year celebrations, traditionally helping him deliver gifts and spread festive joy. Her origins also lie in older Slavic tales about a maiden made of snow, giving her character a fascinating connection to winter mythology.

This miniature reimagines Snegurochka as a majestic frost sorceress, combining the beauty of traditional winter imagery with the commanding presence of a powerful fantasy spellcaster.

She wears an elaborate crown decorated with crystalline ornaments, while her long, flowing hair and intricate braids frame a serene expression. Her elegant gown features layered fabrics, ornamental patterns, fur-trimmed details and an intricately sculpted bodice, creating a rich combination of textures throughout the figure.

In one hand she holds a tall magical staff topped with a large, elaborate snowflake, while her other hand is raised in a graceful gesture, as though summoning the cold winds of winter. The flowing sleeves and sweeping folds of her dress give the sculpture a sense of movement and reinforce her ethereal appearance.

With her regal bearing, delicate ornamental details and unmistakable connection to winter folklore, Snegurochka brings a refined and magical presence to Team Santa. An enchanting addition to the Holy Night collection for miniature painters and collectors who appreciate fantasy sorceresses, elemental magic and traditional Christmas legends.
